Nature of the Platform
DrugSetu is a healthcare data infrastructure and standardization platform.
DrugSetu is not a pharmacy, medical service provider, clinical decision system, diagnostic or treatment platform, or regulatory authority.
DrugSetu does not verify clinical or therapeutic correctness and does not certify regulatory approval.

All Data is provided strictly for informational and reference purposes only.
- DrugSetu does not provide medical or pharmaceutical advice.
- DrugSetu does not recommend or substitute medicines.
- DrugSetu does not prescribe treatments or dosages.

Assumption of Risk and No Reliance
- Your use of the Platform involves inherent medical, regulatory, commercial, and technical risks.
- You assume all such risks knowingly and voluntarily.
- You agree not to rely on DrugSetu data for any medical, clinical, regulatory, or commercial decision.
- Any reliance by you or third parties is unreasonable and at your own risk.
No Professional or Fiduciary Relationship
Use of DrugSetu does not create a doctor patient relationship, pharmacist patient relationship, advisor client relationship, or fiduciary duty of any kind.
Accounts, Credentials and Security
- You are solely responsible for account credentials and API keys.
- You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.
- Loss, misuse, or compromise of credentials is entirely your liability.
Active Monitoring and Surveillance Disclosure
- DrugSetu logs API requests and responses.
- DrugSetu monitors traffic, API usage, and usage patterns.
- DrugSetu detects scraping, abuse, circumvention, excessive API usage, and unusual or anomalous API call patterns.
- DrugSetu may use automated and manual enforcement systems to identify and respond to violations.
- The system may automatically detect and block excessive, abnormal, or suspicious API usage without prior notice.
- Accounts identified as engaging in excessive, abusive, suspicious, or unauthorized API usage may be automatically suspended, restricted, or blacklisted.
- Blacklisting may be permanent and irreversible, and access to the DrugSetu platform and APIs may not be restored once an account has been permanently blacklisted.
- Any subscription fees, API credits, prepaid balances, or other payments associated with an account that is suspended, blocked, or permanently blacklisted due to excessive, abusive, suspicious, or unauthorized usage are strictly non-refundable. No refund, credit, or compensation will be provided as a result of such enforcement action.
- No expectation of privacy exists with respect to platform usage logs, API requests, responses, traffic, or usage patterns.
- Technical compliance with an API rate limit does not prevent DrugSetu from determining that the overall pattern or cumulative effect of API activity constitutes prohibited Bulk Extraction or Database Replication.
API License
- DrugSetu grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and query the DrugSetu API solely for the operation of your permitted application, product, service, or internal business workflow and strictly subject to these Terms.
- Your API subscription provides controlled access to DrugSetu Data through the API. It does not constitute a sale, assignment, transfer, or license of ownership in the DrugSetu database or any substantial portion thereof.
- API access does not grant you the right to download, extract, archive, reproduce, mirror, replicate, reconstruct, or maintain an independent copy of the DrugSetu database or any substantial portion thereof.
- The API is intended to provide application-level access to relevant DrugSetu Data as required by the permitted use case. It is not intended to function as a database-export, database-migration, archival, synchronization, or database-replication mechanism.
- Any use that has the purpose or effect of transferring a substantial portion of the DrugSetu database to Customer-controlled infrastructure is prohibited unless expressly authorized by DrugSetu under a separate written agreement.
- Nothing in an API subscription grants ownership or other proprietary rights in DrugSetu’s database, database structure, compilation, organization, indexes, metadata, or other proprietary elements.
Absolute Data Usage Prohibitions
The following activities are strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized by DrugSetu in a separate written agreement:
12.1 Bulk Extraction
You may not use the API to perform Bulk Extraction of DrugSetu Data, including through:
- automated scripts;
- sequential API requests;
- pagination;
- repeated catalogue searches;
- crawlers, bots, or automated processes;
- parallel or concurrent requests;
- repeated API sessions; or
- any combination of the above.
Compliance with an API rate limit does not, by itself, make Bulk Extraction permissible. Rate limits control technical request frequency and are not a grant of permission to retrieve or reproduce the DrugSetu database.
12.2 Database Replication and Mirroring
You may not transfer, import, synchronize, mirror, replicate, reconstruct, or maintain all or a substantial portion of DrugSetu Data in any Customer-controlled or third-party database, data warehouse, data lake, search index, vector database, backup system, archival system, or similar repository.
12.3 Database Archival
You may not perform a one-time or recurring archival, backup, snapshot, export, or download of the DrugSetu catalogue or any substantial portion thereof for the purpose of maintaining an independent copy of the DrugSetu database.
The fact that an extraction is performed only once, rather than continuously, does not make the activity permissible.
12.4 Circumvention
You may not use multiple API keys, accounts, applications, IP addresses, infrastructure, pagination strategies, request patterns, or other technical mechanisms to circumvent or defeat any restriction, limitation, monitoring system, or intended usage boundary of the API.
12.5 Reconstruction
You may not accumulate individual API responses over time for the purpose or effect of reconstructing DrugSetu’s database or any substantial portion thereof.
This prohibition applies even where the individual API requests are otherwise valid and permitted when considered separately.
12.6 Bulk Exports
You may not request, create, receive, or maintain CSV, JSON, XML, SQL, spreadsheet, database dumps, backups, feeds, or other equivalent exports containing all or a substantial portion of DrugSetu Data.
Standard API subscriptions do not include any right to receive a full or substantial database export.
12.7 Redistribution and Competing Services
You may not resell, sublicense, publish, distribute, transfer, provide third-party access to, or otherwise make available DrugSetu Data as a standalone dataset, database, API, feed, data service, or competing product.
You may not use DrugSetu Data to create a competing medicine database, pharmaceutical data service, or substantially similar data product.
12.8 Permitted Application-Level Storage
Limited storage of API responses may be permitted where reasonably necessary for the ordinary operation of an approved application, such as short-term caching or technical performance optimization, provided that such storage does not create or facilitate a substitute, mirror, archival copy, or substantial reproduction of the DrugSetu database.
12.9 Enforcement
DrugSetu may monitor API usage, including request volume, pagination patterns, record retrieval patterns, account activity, and cumulative data access, to identify potential Bulk Extraction, Database Replication, scraping, abuse, or circumvention.
DrugSetu may throttle, restrict, suspend, or terminate API access where activity indicates a violation or attempted violation of these Terms.
Any violation of this Clause constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
Public Display Requirement
If you publicly display DrugSetu data, you must display the following disclaimer verbatim:
“Information sourced from DrugSetu is for informational purposes only. DrugSetu standardizes data but does not guarantee accuracy. Consult healthcare professionals for medical decisions.”
Failure to display this disclaimer constitutes a breach.
Pharma Partner Terms
- Pharma Partners retain ownership of uploaded data.
- Pharma Partners bear full responsibility for accuracy, legality, and regulatory compliance.
- Pharma Partners grant DrugSetu a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty free license to host, modify, standardize, display, and distribute uploaded data.
- Pharma Partners indemnify DrugSetu against regulatory actions, consumer claims, mislabeling, IP infringement, and product withdrawals.
No Endorsement or Certification
DrugSetu does not endorse products, certify manufacturers, approve drugs, or validate claims. Any implication otherwise is prohibited.
Payment, Billing and No Refund Policy
All payments are final, non refundable, and non reversible, with no exceptions.
Termination Without Notice
DrugSetu may suspend or terminate access without notice, explanation, or refund, including to mitigate legal or regulatory risk.
This includes suspected or confirmed Bulk Extraction, database replication, scraping, catalogue harvesting, circumvention of API restrictions, or other activity that threatens the security, capacity, integrity, intellectual property, or commercial value of the DrugSetu platform or database.
Survival of Obligations
IP rights, data licenses, disclaimers, indemnities, liability limitations, and jurisdiction clauses survive termination.
Enterprise Grade Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renaid Solutions LLP and its officers, employees, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, including medical, regulatory, consumer, third party, data misuse, or security related claims, even if DrugSetu is named as a co defendant.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, DrugSetu is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- DrugSetu is not liable for medical outcomes.
- Total liability is capped at fees paid in the last 12 months.
- Liability caps do not apply to your indemnity obligations.
Force Majeure
DrugSetu is not liable for failures caused by internet outages, cloud failures, government orders, regulatory shutdowns, or natural disasters.
Severability, Waiver and Assignment
- If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
- Failure to enforce any right does not constitute waiver.
- DrugSetu may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction.
